Last updated: 15 July 2026. This is a working version prepared by the portal’s editorial team; for disputed situations we recommend consulting a lawyer.
1. Who is the controller
The controller of personal data is LINLINE SE, Company ID (IČO) 05944210, registered office at Antala Staška 1859/34, Krč, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. H 1913.
Contact for data protection matters: redakce@pool-spa-sauna.com.
2. What data we process and where it comes from
We only process data you provide yourself in the request form, plus technical data about your visit to the website:
| Category | Specific data | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Identification and contact | first and last name, e-mail, phone | from you, via the form |
| Request details | location, type of project (pool / hot tub / sauna, service, enclosure, etc.), description and parameters, indicative budget and timing | from you, via the form |
| Technical | IP address, date and time of submission, cookies (see Cookie Policy) | automatically |
We do not require or want special categories of data (health status, etc.) or national ID numbers. Please do not enter such data in free-text fields.
3. Purpose of processing
- Facilitating contact with suppliers — passing your request to selected verified companies in the relevant region and field so they can approach you with an offer.
- Communication about the request — follow-up questions, clarification, confirmation of submission.
- Operation, security and service improvement — protection against form abuse (spam, bots), record-keeping and dispute resolution.
We are not a supplier or contractor. The actual project (delivery, service, construction) is arranged directly with the selected company; the contractual relationship for performance arises between you and that company, not with LINLINE SE.
4. Legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (Art. 6(1) GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Passing the request to suppliers and related communication | consent (point a); also a measure taken prior to entering into a contract at your request (point b) |
| Protection against form abuse, security, record-keeping in case of dispute | legitimate interest (point f) |
| Analytics cookies | consent (point a) — see Cookie Policy |
Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time (see point 7); withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. However, without providing the required data and submitting the request, we cannot facilitate contact with suppliers.
5. Disclosure to third parties
- Your request is passed to a maximum of 3 (three) companies from the relevant region and field, so you can compare offers.
- We select companies based on the location and field of the request.
- Each company we pass the request to is contractually bound to use your data solely to prepare and submit an offer, to maintain confidentiality, and may not resell or further pass on the contact (see Terms for Companies).
- Categories of recipients: directory supplier companies (independent controllers for the purpose of negotiating the project); technical service providers acting as processors (web hosting, e-mail infrastructure, analytics) under a contract per Art. 28 GDPR; public authorities where required by law.
- Transfers outside the EU/EEA: as a rule, we do not transfer your data outside the EU/EEA. We use Google Analytics; if this tool processes data outside the EU/EEA, it does so subject to appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
6. Retention period
- Request data: for the duration of processing and then 12 months from submission in case of follow-up questions or complaints, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
- Proof of consent given: for the duration of processing and a further 3 years to demonstrate compliance.
- Data passed to suppliers: the retention period is determined by the given supplier as an independent controller; we contractually require them not to use the data longer than necessary.
- Cookies: per the periods stated in the Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights
With respect to your personal data, you have the right to access your data and obtain a copy, to have inaccurate data corrected, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.gov.cz) if you believe processing violates the regulations.
Submit a request to redakce@pool-spa-sauna.com. We generally respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity.
Note on passed-on requests: once a request has been passed to suppliers, they become independent controllers with respect to handling your project. Erasure or objection requests concerning them must be made directly to them; on request, we will tell you which companies received your request.
8. Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Selecting suppliers by region and field is purely technical matching, not a decision with legal impact on you.
9. Unverified company profiles
Some directory profiles were compiled from publicly available sources. If you represent a company and want to claim or edit a profile, or do not wish to be listed in the directory, write to us at redakce@pool-spa-sauna.com — we process removal requests within 30 days.
