Technology determines how much time you’ll spend on the pool after completion. Filtration, heating and automatic water treatment translate directly into comfort, running costs and service demands.
Filtration
The basis is correctly sized filtration and a suitable filter medium. Undersized technology can mean more frequent water quality problems.
Heating and covering
A heat pump makes sense mainly in combination with a cover or enclosure. Otherwise part of the energy can leak away unnecessarily.
Automation
Automatic dosing and water measurement reduces manual work, but requires regular checks and service.
How the three systems work together
Filtration, heating and automation aren’t separate items but a connected whole: poorly sized filtration drives up heating costs and makes automatic chemical dosing less accurate. When requesting a quote, therefore ask for a design of the technology as a whole, not just a list of individual components with a price next to each.
Before choosing the technology, have the supplier explain how the individual components communicate with each other – separate control of filtration, heating and dosing without shared automation often leads to inefficient operation. Also ask about service availability for the whole system, not just for individual parts.
